Well…here we are…
…and there I was; born on a remarkably steamy Milwaukee day in September of 1988. (For you coasties, the answer is yes, Wisconsin does actually boost temperatures above 40.) As the middle child of three..
…aha. ok, just kidding.
I am a recent graduate of a small high school, currently attending the University of Wisconsin in Madison. I sometimes question my decision to attend a school so close to home, but actually, my experiences here have been beyond gratifying.
Starting this blog comes for a lot of reasons. My first attempt at this began last Christmas break because, quite frankly, I was bored. Then back to school and my impulsive urge to keep a blog didn’t last long. In typical collegiate fashion, my papers were already turned in and my alarm switched off at the last possible second permissible, and spare time to post random nothings that nobody read slipped fast.
But here I am again with another break in my schedule–summer time. I know, it’s not the most ideal time to start an ‘inside project’, I realize, but I’m at the computer enough, that I’m trying for round two. I truly enjoy reading other’s websites/random whatevers and have developed a the delusion that if I create my own blog, someone, somewhere out there, might take a slight interest in what I have to say–about life, cycling, photography, purpose, the universe at large, or what I ate for lunch yesterday.
I am not at all ashamed of my opinions, profanity, or writing style. No one is forcing you to hang out here, or read my admittedly self-centered opinions. This blog is by no means and with no intention, the most profound, eloquently printed, writing you have ever read. It’s just me. And I hope you enjoy it that way.
